Specify Transfer Amounts
Description
All unpaid tax bills belonging to the first source revenue object selected are displayed. If you have selected multiple revenue objects, the others are accessible from the work list.
SETUP: See Levy Management, Levy Management Setup and Tax Bill Transfer for any applicable prerequisites, dependencies and setup information for this task.
Steps

Accept the Effective Date default or enter the date and click Update Information.
NOTE: You cannot transfer unpaid penalty and interest charges, so those amounts are not included in the amount due displayed. The current amount due is displayed for each bill. -
Enter the Split/Transfer Amount of the charges to split or transfer for each revenue object in the Select Tax Bills to Split or Transfer panel. You are not required to enter the entire amount due.

Repeat the previous applicable steps for additional source revenue objects in the work list.

IMPORTANT: If you selected Divide Bill on the previous screen, you cannot define an amount. You can only update the Effective Date.

Click Next to proceed to Select Target Revenue Objects for Transfer.

Click Previous to return to Select Source Revenue Objects for Transfer

Click Close to end the task.
Tips
To process tax bill transfers, you must associate the Tax Bill Transfer systype in the Financial Management Processes category with the Correction systype from the Surplus Sub Code category. See Systype Maintenance.
You cannot transfer unpaid penalty and interest charges.
If you are working with multiple revenue objects, use the work list tab on the sidebar to select different items. You must select the bills and amounts to transfer for each of the source revenue object before proceeding to the next screen.
You can view the revenue object information for a different effective date by changing the date in the Revenue Object Information panel title bar and clicking Update Information.
