Steps Maintain TIF Participation

Description

Select the TAGs which participate in the TIF district in order to set the participation rate of each tax authority-fund-rate in the TIF.

This does not automatically associate all properties in a TAG with the TIF, but a TAG must be selected in order for any revenue objects in the TAG to be associated with the TIF.

Steps

  1. Click Add to go to the Search for Tax Authority Groups screen to search for TAGs to attach to the TIF district. When you return to this screen, the groups are listed in the Participating TAGs grid.

    • Click Remove on any TAG to remove it from the list of participating TAGs.

  1. Click Next to go to the Set TIF Participation Rates screen.

    • Click Previous to return to Maintain TIF District Details.

Tips Tips

This step does not apply if TIF charges will be calculated using a secondary tax calculation rule.

Revenue objects are associated with TIF districts using Maintain TIF District Revenue Objects, which is accessed from the Search for TIF Districts screen.
