Affidavit Search

Navigate: ClosedTax > Excise Tax >  Excise Tax Affidavit Maintenance > Affidavit Search

Description

Use this page to search for Excise Affidavits, or to start a new Walk-in Affidavit.

Steps

  1. Access the page from the Excise Tax > Excise Affidavit Maintenance menu option.

  2. Select the search parameters needed:

    1. Excise Number, PIN - if the particular excise number or PIN for the affidavit are known, then enter one of those numbers in this field. For a more general search leave this field empty, though be aware the search time could be longer.

    2. Status - Use the drop down options to select a status if desired. Options are Approved and Void

    3. Published - Use the drop-down options to select Yes or No, if only published or unpublished Affidavits are required.

  3. Once the parameters are set on the page, click the Search button.

  4. Search results, if there are any, will be listed in the results grid below the parameters.

  5. Select one or more rows by clicking the check-boxes to the left of the rows and then click Next to view the Affidavit Information page

  6. If the intent when entering this page is process a new "walk-in" affidavit, then click the New Affidavit button to advance to the Validate Excise Data page and start processing.
