Parcel Verification

Description

Parcel Verification is the first screen of the transfer process. Document data, Transaction data, revenue objects to transfer and legal party grantees can be added on this screen. The transfer subtask will determine what validations are done and what data automatically appears on the second screen where the ownership interests are maintained.

Steps

  1. On the Parcel Verification screen, define parcel information in the left side panels as applicable, including:
    • Official Document
    • Transfer Information
    • PINS from Document
    • Grantors and Grantees from Document
    • Additional Index Data from Document (specific to your jurisdiction)

    NOTE: Some of these fields may already be populated if they were index data from a Recorder application that is integrated with Aumentum.

  2. In the Revenue Object(s) panel, click Add from Revenue Object List or Add from Search. When finished, you return to this screen with the panel populated with the added revenue object.
  3. For items in the Revenue Object(s) panel, click the Notes hyperlink to open the Notes View screen. Edit or add notes as needed. Click Remove on an existing record to delete it from the panel.
  4. In the Revenue Object Details for panel, click a tab to see relevant chain of title information. Each tab shows different attributes about the revenue object highlighted in the Revenue Object(s) panel. An indicator will show if there is data on any of the tabs.
  5. The Current Ownership panel is read only.
  6. In the Grantees panel, Click Add from Search to search for and select grantees you want to add to the record. Or, click Add New to open the Maintain Legal Party screen and fill in the information. Click Save and select a Change Reason code to return to this screen.
    • Click Remove for an item in the grid to delete a grantee from this parcel.
  7. In the Associated Legal Parties panel, click Add to search for and select associated legal parties to add to the record.
    • Click Remove to disassociate an existing associated legal party.
  8. Click Save in the Command Item bar.
  9. NOTE: You can temporarily save the data you entered, close the task, and come back to the transfer in the Worklist. You do not have to do a temporary save.

  10. Click Next to open the Chain of Title Summary screen.
  11. NOTE: This screen appears if the current transfer is an out-of-order transfer, or is another document with the same effective date, known as a same day transfer (more than one on the same day). This is where you can add the correct sequence number for the document and put same-day transfers in order.

  12. Click Close to end the task.
