Description
Use the Manual Calendar to tentatively schedule a hearing for a time slot.
General configuration is a prerequisite to the Manual Calendar.
Steps

On the Case Management Search screen, enter your search criteria and click Search.
- In the Results panel, select the checkbox for one or more items in the grid and click Next.
- Click Configuration > Application Settings.
- On the Maintain Application Settings screen, select Effective Date from the Setting type drop-down list, and select System from the Filter by module drop-down list.
- Locate Search result limit and click Edit.
- Enter the maximum number of records you want to see in search results in the Setting Value column.
- Click Apply, then click Save.
- On the Schedule Event screen, select the checkbox for one or more groups in the Group List panel and click Next.
- On the Manual Calendar screen, the Proposed Resource is a result of internal workflows that were created as rules for the selected Case and/or Parcel type.

Click Save to select the proposed time slot shown in gray on the calendar.
- Click Save.

Optionally right click on a tentatively scheduled hearing and select to remove it from the calendar.

Click Return to return to the previous screen.

Click Cancel to discard changes since the last Save and retain the current view.

Click Close to end the task.
NOTE: The number of records displayed in the search results is based on the Search Result Limit application setting.

OR
Click on an alternative time slot in the calendar to reschedule the hearing for the desired time. The changed time is automatically updated in the calendar.
NOTE: Upon saving, the time slot is tentatively schedule. To finalize the schedule, navigate to Case Management > Calendars > Hearing Calendar.
OR
Remove a finalized hearing from the calendar. A pop-up window displays for you to select a schedule Change Reason.
NOTE: A case can be rescheduled or removed only if the appellant has not exceeded the amount of allowable reschedules as configured in the CM Configuration - General task (see the Options panel).
Application Setting
When General Config - Create Initial Schedules as Finalized is True, a user who is not a scheduling administrator can use existing finalized blocks to schedule hearings and will not be able to override on blocks when it reaches the max count.
- Click Configuration > Application Settings.
- On the Maintain Application Settings screen, select Effective Date from the Setting type drop-down list, and select Case Management from the Filter by module drop-down list.
- Locate General Config - Create Initial Schedules as Finalized and click Edit.
- Select the checkbox in the Setting Value column to set it to True and click Apply.
- Click Save in the Command Item bar.
Security Settings
You can assign security privileges to a user in order to schedule Finalized hearings to Tentative, and Finalized availabilities regardless of skillset established for the availability.
When the security role is assigned, it supersedes the application setting. The scheduling administrator is not limited to max and schedules as Finalized.

- Click Configuration > Security and User Maintenance > Roles.
- On the Maintain a Role screen, click Edit for the role to which you want to grant Scheduling Administrator permissions.
- On the Edit Role Details screen, click Non-Menu Items in the Command Item bar.
- On the Edit Non-Menu Item Role Details screen, select CaseMgt from the Modify security for drop-down list.
- In the Details panel, scroll to Scheduling Administrator and click to select it.
- In the Rights panel, select the Execute checkbox and click Set Rights.
- Click Save in the Command Item bar.
- Click Close to end the task.
Tips
You can define user specific rules to ensure or prevent edits in this task via Configuration > Edit Check Configuration.
Hover over any schedule entry to view scheduling details.
When creating or rescheduling a case that has another case which matches the PIN/Tax Year, Aumentum displays a message indicating, This PIN/Tax Year has a scheduled hearing scheduled at the time associated with Case C####. Press Save to include this case with the existing schedule. Clicking Save saves the case with the existing set, and the existing date and time.
