Description

The Business License List shows the LIN (license identification number), license number, type, description, basis for calculating the tax, and the tax amount for each business.

NOTE: You must minimally select a License Year to generate a report. All other parameters are optional.

Steps

  1. Enter a Business/Trade Name, Owner Name, or Account Number to report on a single business. Leave blank to report on multiple businesses.

  2. Select an Organization Type(s), Class(es), Primary Business Type(s), Business Status(es), Area Type(s), License Year(s), and/or License Status(es) to report on business licenses matching all selections.

  3. Use the calendars to choose any of the possible date ranges, as desired, including:

  • From Issue Date and To Issue Date

  • From Origin Date and To Origin Date

  • From Expire Date and To Expire Date

  • From Audit Date and To Audit Date

  1. Check the Has Payments? checkbox to include those with payments.

  2. Select the Address type, either Situs Address (default) or Mailing Address and enter the Postal Code to generate a report of accounts by postal code. Various formats and mixes are accepted for the postal code, for example:

    • 32828

    • 32828, 32829, and 32830

    • 32828-1024

    • 32828-1024, 32828-1025, and 32828-1026

    • 32828-1024, 32828-1025, and 32828-1026

    • 32828, 32829, between 32830 and 32845,32850

    • 32828-1024, between 32828-1025 and 32828-1045, and 32828-1026

  1. Select one or more License Business Type from the list or accept the Select All default.

  2. Select one or more License Business Type Status from the list or accept the Select All default.

  3. Check the Display BannerPage checkbox to hide the parameter banner information from the report cover page.

  4. Click View Report to generate the report and display it in a new window, or click Submit to Batch to submit the report to batch processes, which opens the Monitor Batch Processes screen.
