Calibration Model Configuration

Description

NOTE: This task may not apply to your jurisdiction.

Use Calibration Model Configuration to define the association of user-defined factors to their corresponding data fields. The Calibration Factor Model references a pre-defined systype variable as a way to associate data fields to these factors.

Calibration Model Configuration is comprised of two tabs:

  • Model Information - Contains high-level model definition information (e.g., model number, name, description, notes).

  • Model Factors - Add and/or edit factor associations with individual variables.

Model Information

Steps

  1. Add or edit the model's basic information.

    • Code - Enter a code representing the model.

    • Name - Enter the name of the model.

    • Status - Select the status of the model. The Status of the model indicates whether or not the model is available for use throughout the system.

    • Description - Enter a description of the model.

  1. Optionally, click Add Note to add a note to the model. Model Notes uses standard, Aumentum Notes functionality.

    • Click OK to add the note.

    • Click Delete Note to cancel adding the note.

  2. Click Save.

Model Factors

Steps

  1. Select the Calibration Variable. Factors for the selected variable populate in the grid below. NOTE: You cannot edit associated factors for models in a Locked status.

  2. Click the Pencil icon to edit all factors in the Calibration Model grid. All lines are active for editing the Calibration Factor field.

    • Click the green check mark to save all changes.

    • Click the red X to cancel all changes and exit the editor.

  1. Optionally, you can export the list to a Microsoft Excel worksheet.

  2. Click Save.

    • Click Clone to clone the model's features to a new Calibration Model (see Tips below).

    • Click Close to end the task.

Tips

The Clone feature allows you to quickly clone data relationships from one model to any other model in the same list-level.

  • Define the cloned Model's Code, Name, Status and Description.

    • Click Apply to save the cloned model.

    • Click Cancel to cancel cloning.
