Property Record Card Configuration

Navigate:ClosedValuation> Configuration > Property Record Card Configuration

Description

The property record card (PRC) is used in many county assessor or appraiser offices and contains select information regarding the characteristics of the property (for example, land, building, features, and sales data).

The PRC is not intended to contain related assessment information like exemptions or value history.

Aumentum’s PRC configuration tool may be used to design and build multiple versions of the property record card.

Steps

Adding a Property Record Card

  1. On the Property Record Card Summary screen, click Add in the panel's title bar.

  2. In the Details panel, enter a name

  3. Click to select a Status.

    • Active – the template is valid for use.

    • Inactive – the template is not functional in the user interface; it can be reset to active.

    • Under Construction – the template is under development and not functional in the user interface.
  4. Click to select a Level.

    • General – the template is intended for use with all property classes.

    • Class Code – the template is intended for use with specific property classes.

      • Select the checkbox for one or more class codes for which the PRC is valid.

    • Class Code Group – the template is intended for use with one or more groups of property classes.

      • Select the checkbox for one or more class code groups for which the PRC is valid.

  5. Enter a description for this property record card.

  6. Click OK in the Details panel header.
  7. Click Save in the Command Item bar.

Editing a Property Record Card

  1. Click the Pencil icon for an existing item in the grid.

  2. See Adding a Property Record Card (above) to edit the fields and notes.

  3. Click OK in the Details panel header.
  4. Click Save in the Command Item bar.

Property Record Card Designer

Use this process to control pages in the layout pane.

  1. On the Property Record Card Summary screen, click the Pencil icon for an item in the grid.

  2. In the Details panel header, click Edit Layout.

  3. On the Property Record Card Layout screen, select an item in the Pages panel to navigate to a specific page.

    • Click Add Page as needed.

    • Click Delete Page to remove an item from the Page panel.
    • Click on a page number to navigate to a specific page.

  4. In the Page Properties panel, set the page orientation and size.

  5. In the Default Font Properties panel, specify the alignment, font family, and font size.
  6. In the Fields panel on the left side of the screen, click on a field that you want to add to the layout.

    • Click the Add Field button below the panel, then click on the layout to insert the selected field. Or, click Cancel Adding Field if you don't want to add it to the layout.

    • Click the down arrow next to the Add Field button to open a drop-down list with other items.
  7. In the Child Tables panel, click on an item that you want to add to the layout.

    • Click the Add Table button below the panel, then click on the layout to insert the selected table. Or, click Cancel Adding Table if you don't want to add it to the layout.
    • Using your mouse, click-and-drag the table to reposition it in the layout.
  8. Click Save in the Command Item bar.

    • Click Cancel to remove items added to the layout since the last Save.

    • Click Preview to preview a specific PIN. Follow the instructions in the pop-up and click OK.

    • Click Close to end the task.

Manipulating objects in the layout pane

  • Click on an item in the grid and use your mouse wheel to zoom in or out.

  • Click to select an object (label or data field) and open the Field Properties pane on the right side of the screen.

  • Click to select an object and press Delete on your keyboard to remove it from the layout pane.

Review, Print and Save PRCs

Use this process to open, save and print a PRC for a specific property.

  1. Click Valuation > Property Characteristics.

  2. Search for and select a PIN with characteristics suitable for testing the PRC.

    • The PIN must have an appropriate class and characteristics to be displayed on the PRC.

  3. On the RPA main page, click the PRC control in the Command Item bar.

    • If multiple PRCs are available for the selected PIN, a drop-down list is displayed.

  4. Click Open in the dialog box at the bottom of the page to review the output in PDF format.

    • Click the Print icon to print the PDF.

  5. OR

    Click Save, Save As, or Save and Open in the dialog box at the bottom of the page.
