Description

Use the Property Sale Notices task to print notices for property bills associated with a Tax Sale.

IMPORTANT: You must create and upload a mail merge correspondence document for Property Sale Notices or use the existing ones available from the Correspondence task (Reports and Interfaces > Correspondence).

Steps

  1. On the Print Tax Sale Notices screen, make a selection from the Report Setup drop-down list.
  2. NOTE: The Data Service for the report setup and template is set up and maintained via Reports and Interfaces > Data Services, and Reports and Interfaces > Correspondence, respectively.

  3. Make a selection from the Official Doc Type drop-down list, and depending on the type selected, the Official Doc Sub Type drop-down list, if applicable.
  4. Select the Include Foreign Addr Only checkbox for a group of PINs with a foreign or military address type. When selected, a certification number is not generated as it would be when selecting Certified Mail.
  5. Make a selection from the Mail Type/Location drop-down list, if available.
  6. Select the Print summary report checkbox to also print a summary report of the notices.
  7. Enter a year in the From Sale Year and To Sale Year fields.
  8. Make a selection from the Tax sale drop-down list.
  9. Make a selection from the Buyer Payment Posted drop-down list.
    • All includes all items meeting the criteria.
    • Yes includes only items that have a buyer payment posted.
    • No includes only items that do not have any buyer payment posted.
  10. Enter a number in the From Item Number and To Item Number fields. For only one item, enter the same number in both fields.
  11. Enter a number in the From Buyer Number and the To Buyer Number. For only one buyer, enter the same number in both fields.
  12. Make a selection from the Participating drop-down list.
  13. The Other Sale Date fields are populated based on the Tax Sale selected; however, you can select any other dates as applicable.
  14. Make a selection from the Include Items drop-down list.
  15. Click Print in the Command Item bar.
  16. On the Monitor Batch Processes screen, click on the notice name to open the View Batch Process Details screen when Completed appears in the Status column.
    • In the Report panel, click the hyperlink to open the PDF in a new window.
    • On the View Batch Process Details screen, click List to return to the Monitor Batch Processes screen.
    • Click Close to return to the Print Tax Sale Notices screen.
    • Click Close to end the task.

Reports and Interfaces Module

  1. Data Service – The data service for Tax Sale Notices must be downloaded and maintained using the Tax Sale Notices or Tax Sale Cancellation datasource available using the Data Services task available via Reports and Interfaces > Data Services.

    IMPORTANT: Your Aumentum Implementation team may set up the particular data service and data source initially depending on your jurisdictional needs.

  2. Templates – Upload the data source document on the Manage Templates screen available via Reports and Interfaces > Correspondence > Report Setups > Manage Report Setups > [Manage Templates] > Manage Templates. Also create new and maintain existing templates using this task.

  3. Report Setup – Associate the template to the report setup using this task available via Reports and Interfaces > Report Setups > Manage Reports > Manage Report Setups. Also create new and maintain existing report setups using this task.

Property Sales Notices for Deeds

Property Sale Notices for Deeds with vesting information (defined on the Maintain Property Sales screen)  require the following setup:

  • A documentary stamp fee with the category of Doc Stamp must be set up in Property Sale Settings.

  • The Collection Type must be Secured.

  • A UDF must be set up for TAG Area via Configuration > User-Defined Fields.
