Description

NOTE: Currently, this task applies to California jurisdictions only.

Use this task to import BOE Change Notice data including:

• BOE District Chart for the Roll Year Board Roll – BOE District Type Chart.

• BOE TRA Chart for Roll Year Board Roll – BOE Tax Rate Area Chart (with Districts) for Roll Year Board Roll.

• BOE TRA Change Action (Split List) – BOE TRA Action Code.

• BOE Filings Logged for Roll Year Board Roll – BOE TRA Intent of Filing Chart.

• BOE Map Index – BOE TRA Map Index.

This import also accepts State Assessed Rolls in electronic, readable format

Potential revenue district updates are identified based on a review of the annual BOE District Chart, the BOE TRA Change Actions from each logged TRA Change Notice, and from the County TRA District configuration special instructions.

Steps

1. Manage existing import files on the Manage CAMA Import Files screen.

2. Click New on the Manage CAMA Import Files screen to create a new SBE on the Create New CAMA Import screen.

3. Schedule the import process on the Process CAMA Import screen.

4. Each imported Change Notice creates an item in a workflow. Click the sidebar Workflow icon to navigate to the View My Worklist screen and select the Workflow item(s) of Jurisdictional Change, Status of Received, to process the Change Notice.

   NOTE: The Description column link associated with the particular Change Notice in the Worklist opens the document image.
