Advertising Templates

Navigate: Closed Tax > Delinquent > Advertising > Advertising Templates > Select Advertising Template > Maintain Template

Description

Create or modify a template for a delinquent advertising list. You can create and save multiple templates for reuse as needed. Update the template with information appropriate for the tax year.

IMPORTANT: You must first set the Delinquent advertising application settings before you create an Advertising Template.

Steps

  1. Enter or edit the template name.

  2. Select or edit the report file in which to use the template.

  3. Enter or edit the Header text.

  4. Enter or edit the Footer text information.

    NOTE: The header and footer space is often used to post legal party information about the location of the sale or reason for publication.

  5. Click Preview to preview the template you created.

  6. Click Save to save the new template.

  7. Click List to return to the Select Advertising Template screen or click Close to end the task.

Tips

Click Delete on the task bar and click OK through the confirmation message to delete the template.

Click New to clear the screen to add a new template

This template is for the format of the listing and not the content.

The default report name is selected in Application Settings.

Some Advertising Templates support html code. However, you must use square brackets instead of angle brackets. For example, [b]This text displays bold.[/b]. Also, italics can only be used by fonts that support italics.

Not all html codes can be used in the Advertising Template.

Here is a list of html tags you can use in the Advertising Template. NOTE: Not all Advertising Templates can use html code. Contact your Aumentum Support representative for more information.

If no report files are available, double check that there are Advertising rpt files in the folder designated by the Framework Application Setting UNC path to base folder for Aumentum RPT files. Also, be sure that the Tax Delinquent Application Setting Advertising reports is set. This Application Setting value is the mask used to find choices for the drop-down list of the Report File. The default value is ' *Advertising*.* '
