Hearing Locations

Navigate: ClosedTax > Billing > Setup > Hearing Locations  

Description

Set up hearing locations, dates, and times for tax authorities required to print Truth in Taxation notices. You can also set up hearing locations for Open Book meetings, Local Board of Appeal meetings, and County Board of Appeal meetings.

Steps

  1. On the Set Up Hearing Locations screen, make a selection from the Location type drop-down list.

  2. NOTE: Each location type displays a unique set of Tax Authority locations that can be set up.

  3. In the Tax Authority Hearing Locations panel, click Add, or click Edit for an existing item in the grid.

  4. On the Maintain Hearing Locations screen, ...

    • Click Remove to delete an item from the grid.

    NOTE: If you select County Board of Appeal, a new grid displays on which you can enter information.

  5. Enter the hearing time.

  6. Enter the location of the hearing on Location line 1 through Location line 4, as needed.

  7. Click Save in the County Hearing Location Setup title bar.

  • You must set up sorting and grouping rules before you can print/export selected Items.

  • Sorting and grouping rules must be set up before you can print/export bills or Truth in Taxation notices.

  • You must set up sorting and grouping rules before you can print assessment notices.
