Surplus/Refund Routing Rules

Navigate: ClosedTax > Accounts Receivable > Surplus Refund Setup > Surplus/Refund Routing Rules

Description

Use this task to define routing rules (e.g., Refund Immediately, Apply to Charges, etc.).

Steps

NOTE: Items in the Refund Workflow Criteria Rules panel are created on the Set Up Surplus/Refund Criteria screen.

  1. On the Set Up Surplus/Refund Routing Rules screen, click Edit for an item in the Refund Workflow Criteria Rules panel.

  2. In the Action column, make a selection from the drop-down list.

    NOTE: Depending on the rule and the jurisdiction, these actions vary.

  3. In the Refund Reason column, make a selection from the drop-down list.

  4. Click Apply.

    • Click Cancel to cancel.

  5. Click Save in the Command Item bar.

    • Click Close to end the task.
