Description

This task opens a directory of customer-written reports that are run through SQL Server Reporting Services and have been uploaded outside of Aumentum.

Work with your Aumentum Implementation team to write and configure custom reports.

IMPORTANT: Aumentum accommodates international date formatting for tasks that require dating as well as for all reports, including dating formats of dd/mm/yyyy, yyyy/mm/dd, and mm/dd/yyyy.

Steps for Producing a Custom Report

1. Select the report name from the list.

   The Enter Report Parameters screen displays the report criteria.

2. Enter the report options.

3. Click View Reports to generate the report and display it in a new window.

   OR

   Click Submit to Batch to send the report through batch processing if the report is large or the criteria you have selected are complicated. This prevents the report from timing out. The Monitor Batch Processes screen displays.

Prerequisites

Configuration Menu

• Role Maintenance - Grant users access to the Custom Reports task and the related views and subtasks so that they can access these reports.

• Application Settings - Set up the Framework Application Settings for the SQL Reporting Services’ Report Server URL and  the SQL Reporting Services’ Report Root Directory.
