Outbound Document Queue

Navigate: Closed Reports and Interfaces > Correspondence > Outbound Document Queue

Description

Use this task to resubmit report batch jobs as a new instance and to view report job batches.

Steps

  1. On the Outbound Document Queue screen, make a selection from the Outbound Queue drop-down list.

    • You cannot select a report that has restricted data service or if you do not have permissions for the data service. The report is disabled for selection.
    • You cannot select a report package if one of the reports in the report package is restricted. The report package is disabled for selection.
  2. Process and view the correspondence process, select it for processing which submits it to batch, delete a job, view historical data, and download an output log file of the process as well as any output files generated as part of the process on the View Correspondence Process screen.

NOTE: When processing is complete and submitted to batch, you can view the results via the Info Center > Batch Processes task.

  3. View a list of correspondence processes and schedule dates and select any item to view detail on the View Correspondence Process History screen.

Dependencies, Prerequisites, and Setup

You can use the Auxiliary Report Setup via Reports and Interfaces > Correspondence to define certain envelope sizes and certified mail envelopes to attach to other reports, if a data service is set for the envelopes. Two application settings, set via Configuration > Application Settings > Effective Dated > Common, enable this feature:

  • Default Correspondence Chunk Size (string): When multiple reports are combined, this setting controls the chunk size, instead of the individual settings on each Report Setup. This setting also determines the default value when creating new Report Setups. The current default is 2500.

  • Collate Correspondence By Address (Boolean): When true, Correspondence batches of multiple PDF reports will be combined and collated by address (the new functionality). When false, a separate file will be produced for each distinct report setup (the existing behavior). The default is false.
