Electronic Billing Registration

Description

NOTE: Electronic Billing Registration may not apply to your jurisdiction.

Use the Electronic Billing Registration task to register accounts for e-billing so that the registered recipient(s) receives alerts and e-bills to the email address defined for the recipient.

Steps

  1. Search for the account(s) on the eBilling Registration Search View screen.

  2. Select the account(s) and click Next to navigate to the Electronic Billing Registration screen, on which you can:

    • Register a legal party that is associated with the account to receive eBilling E-mail alerts.

    • Register an email account to receive eBilling alerts.

Configuration Flag Setup

An eBilling PIN Flag has been added in Configuration > Flag Setup. The E-Billing PIN Flag is associated with a Legal Party. Use this flag to indicate the Legal Parties that participate in eBilling. When adding this flag to a PIN, the list of Legal Parties to attach to the Flag to is limited by the Application Setting (Records Module setting)  eBilling Registration Options.

  • Navigate to Configuration > Application Settings > Maintain Application Settings.

  • Select the Effective Date Setting type and Filter by the Records Module.

  • Locate the E-Billing Registration Options setting and click Edit.

  • Select the Setting Value and Save.

Configuration Security

Set the appropriate security rights for Roles in your jurisdiction for the Electronic E-Billing Registration task.

  • Navigate to Configuration > Security and User Maintenance > Roles > Maintain a Role.

  • Select a Role to edit on the Edit Role Details screen.

  • Locate the Available Menu Items panel and expand the Records module.

  • Click to select the Electronic Billing Registration menu item.

  • Edit Rights, as desired and click Set Rights.

  • Click Save.
