Description

Use these tasks to import data into Records from an external system. Depending on your jurisdiction, you might be importing data from a flat file, or you might be importing data using the integration tables. To use the integration tables, the external system updates the integration tables with data to be imported into Records. The Records import process updates the Aumentum database with the data in the integration tables.

For example, if you are using an administrative source other than Records, the integration tables can be used to keep Records and the administrative source in sync with each other regarding new parcels, splits, merges, parcel changes, and so forth.

Your jurisdiction may or may not use the following import tasks.

Steps

  1. On the Print Records PT-61 Import screen, enter the file location (the server or local machine where the file currently resides).
  2. Enter the import file name.
  3. Click Process to begin the import. Click Info Center > Batch Processes to monitor the process. Click Close to return to this screen.
  4. Click Close to end the task.
