Description

Use this task to search for and maintain landlords and facility operators of personal property. For example, personal property facilities could include horse stables for horse boarding, marinas for boat storage, and a hangar at an airport for an airplane.

Steps

  1. On the Advanced Search screen, enter your search criteria and click Search.

  2. In the Search Results panel, select the checkbox for one or more items in the grid and click Next.
  3. On the Maintain Landlord/Facility Operator screen, click Change Party to search for and select a different legal party (optional).

  4. Select the Allow surplus capacity checkbox if allowed at the facility.

  5. Enter or select landlord and facility information.
  6. Click the Add New Contact button to search for and select a new legal party contact.

    • Select the Primary checkbox to specify the primary contact.

    • Click the green check mark to save the contact.
    • Click the Delete icon at the end of the row to delete it.

  7. Click Save in the Command Item bar.

    • Click Inactivate to inactivate the facility and legal parties.

    • Click Facility Setup to open the Set Up Facility screen, on which you can set up and maintain facility information. Click Previous to return to the Maintain Landlord/Facility Operator screen.

    • Click Tenants to open the Maintain Tenants screen, on which you can set up and maintain tenant information.
    • NOTE: If you add a tenant that is already associated with the facility, the PIN XXXXXXX is already assigned to this (or another) Facility message will appear at the top of the screen.

    • Click Close to end the task.

    Workflow

    The Maintain Landlord/Facility Operator screen is workflow enabled if configured for your jurisdiction. When selecting the LandlordfacilityoperMaint workflow from the View My Worklist screen, available via the Workflow icon in the sidebar. Depending on the various workflow queues and the stage in the queue, the top command bar may have additional buttons for reviewing and processing the workflow item, such as Submit for Review, Approve, or Reject.
