Filing Assignment Rules

Description

Appraisers use this task to define configurable rules, such as business type, size, property belonging to the same owner, and statements belonging to related parties for the purpose of assigning property statements automatically to appraisers based on configurable rules. The rules are executed when statements are received into PPA via the Bulk Processes > Returns Processing task and the Personal Property > Discovery tasks.

A Filing Assignment by Appraiser report, available via Personal Property Appraisal > Reports > SRS Personal Property Reports, shows assignments when the applicable tax year is defined. The report includes the following for each appraiser: Appraiser Name, Appraiser Status, Number of Accounts by Class Code, Total Appraised Value by Class Code, and subtotals for each.
