Entry Codes

Navigate: Personal Property Appraisal > Setup > Entry Codes

Description

Use this task to define entry codes for personal property aircraft, vessels, etc. Certain jurisdictions use entry codes, similar to asset category codes, to define personal property.

Steps

1. On the Maintain Entry Codes screen, enter or select an Effective Date.
2. Click Add in the panel header.
3. In the new line that is active for editing, enter a code and description, and make a selection from the Asset Category drop-down list.
4. Click the Plus icon next to the line item to add, edit, or delete a table, field, and value.
5. Click Save in the panel header.
6. To remove an item from the list, click to highlight it and click Delete in the panel header.
