Important Assessment Notice Extract

Description

NOTE: This report applies to California jurisdictions only.

Generate the Important Assessment Notice Extract report for vessels assessed at or less than $100,000.

Steps

  1. Create a PIN (revenue object) list.

    • Click Personal Property Appraisal > Search > Personal Account.

    • On the Advanced Search screen, enter your search criteria and click Search.
    • Scroll to the Search Results tab and select the checkbox for one or more items in the grid.
    • At the bottom of the grid, click Save PIN List. Enter a name and click Save.

    • Close the Advanced Search screen.

  2. Click Personal Property Appraisal > Reports > SRS Personal Property Reports > Important Assessment Notice Extract.

  3. On the Custom Reports Selection Options screen, click to select Personal Property Revenue Object List and click Next.
  4. On the Select Revenue Object List screen, make a selection from the Tax Year drop-down list.

  5. From the Revenue Object List drop-down list, select the PIN list you created in Step 1.
  6. In the Search Summary panel, click Row Count, then click Next.

  7. On the Enter Report Parameters screen, make a selection from the Tax Year drop-down list.

    • From the Include Accounts drop-down list, choose to include accounts previously generated or that have never been generated.

  8. Click View Report to open the report in a separate browser window.

    • Optionally, click the Export icon to select a format.
  9. Click Submit to Batch.

  10. On the Monitor Batch Processes screen, select your report when it is finished processing.

  11. Click Close to end the task.

  12. NOTE: Accounts included in the report extract will automatically update the Last Notice Date field for each account on the Maintain PPA Accounts screen.
