Navigate: Info Center > Personal Property
Description
Use this task to view personal property information in Info Center. From the Personal Property Information screen, click Common Actions in the sidebar for links relevant to personal property.
NOTE: This task is only available to jurisdictions that have the Personal Property Appraisal (PPA) module installed.
Steps
NOTE: A personal property account and a revenue object are synonymous.
- On the Search for Personal Property Accounts screen, enter your search criteria and click Search.
- In the Search Results panel, select the checkbox for one or more items and click Next in the Command Item bar.
- On the Personal Property Information screen, there are several panels to view:

In the Command Item bar:

Click Notes to view or add notes on the Notes View screen.
- Click Refresh to reload the personal property data.

Click New Search to return to the Search for Personal Property Accounts screen to look for a different personal property revenue object.

Click List to return to the Search for Personal Property Accounts screen with the search results.
- Click Close to end the task.

The top portion of the page displays the header information that is common to all Info Center pages. If the data is underlined, this is a hyperlink you can click for more information. See Tax Information for more details.

For non-motor, this panel displays annual cycle information for the personal property account based on the selected tax year in the title bar. This information comes from the Maintain Personal Property Accounts screen, when you click Personal Property Appraisal > Accounts, then search for and select an account.

This panel displays the total due for the personal property account as of the date in the panel header. You can change the date to project total due at a future date. Total Due is Current Due + Delinquent Due + Future Due - Advance Payments (if the application setting Include Advance/Surplus in Total Due Amounts is set to True).

The panel displays only when appeal information is available for the personal property account.

This panel displays information for each asset associated with the personal property account. The source of this information can be seen in the Personal Property Appraisal module on the Maintain Assets screen.

This panel displays additional information about the asset selected in the Asset Information panel. If only one asset exists for the personal property account, the asset's details display automatically. This information comes from the Personal Property Appraisal module on the Maintain Assets screen.

This panel displays the exemption and penalty value modifiers that exist on the personal property account during posting. This information comes from the Personal Property Appraisal module on the Maintain Personal Property Accounts screen.
