Attachments to Documentum

Once attachment types are defined via the Configuration Edit Attachment Types task,  you can add attachments to various documents and correspondence data services. Attachments can be exported to back to Documentum. Once exported, Documentum takes ownership and communicates to Aumentum Tax a new URI for the document attachment.

EXAMPLE: An ACR tech sends a piece of correspondence, such as a PCOR (Preliminary Change of Ownership) document, to the tax payer. The PCOR document is stored and tracked in Aumentum Tax as an attachment. After receiving the PCOR document back from the taxpayer via Documentum, the ACR tech works the PCOR document from the worklist via the View My Worklist screen and exports it back to Documentum are completion. Aumentum Tax continues to track the PCOR document attachment.  Documentum then sends a call back to Aumentum Tax when it receives the PCOR document to give the system a new URI location of the PCOR document attachment. Aumentum Tax then creates a new PCOR document attachment pointing to the new URI location and deletes the original PCOR attachment from the system.
