Description

Use this screen to print the daily balance report to verify the session information at the end of the business day. This report includes the year, receipt number, clerk, location, payment type, tendered amount, check number, overpaid, return, short, change, and paid by information as well as reconciliation totals and the number of receipts, transactions, and reversals. The report also totals by tax year for each property type.

• When the payment allocation rule is overridden, theDetailedDaily Balance Report shows an asterisk next to the allocation rule column with a note below stating what user made the change.

• When the partial payment fee is overridden an asterisk  will display next to the Fees/Penalties column label.

Steps

1. On the Print Daily Balance Report screen, enter the Beginning Business Date and Ending Business Date and click Lookup.

2. In the Location Specific Criteria panel:

   • Select one or more locations, and click Look Up to narrow the report by location.

   • Select one or more tills, and click Look Up to narrow the report by till.

3. In the Till Specific Criteria panel:

   • Select one or more sessions, and click Look Up to limit the report by session.

   • Select a specific operator (cashier), if desired, or select All to include all cashiers.

4. Make a selection from the Report type drop-down list.

5. Select the checkbox for Print in batch to process a large volume of data more efficiently.

6. Click Generate to create the report and view it in a separate window.

7. Click Close to end the task.

Tips

You must reconcile each session completely through the Back Office Reconciliation process to display amounts on this report. If not, the report totals for that session display $0.00.
