Description
Evidence Packets are generated based on template definitions configured in Reports and Interfaces > Packet Report Setup. Build Evidence Packet > Single provides the ability to identify that one Evidence Packet referencing multiple Accounts or multiple Cases be created. This may also be used for individual packet runs for a single case, however that is not the primary intent. Individual, single case packets may be generated from Case Detail by clicking the Evidence Packet button.
The Single run requires identification of the previously configured template. The user will have the opportunity change the template identified elements to edit the parameters, remove elements not needed, or add elements needed for this specific run. Any modifications made will only impact the single run.
Steps
Initial access to Build Evidence Packet will require the user identify the Type of generation needed.
- Evidence Packet Type: Required selection. Select one of the following options:
- Evidence Packet by Case: provides the ability to search by Case and Accounts to include in the single evidence packet generation.
- The Enter Case Number and Enter Account fields will respond with results as the user types, narrowing the list of matches as more data is entered. Click on the desired match, click the Add button to add it to the grid list of Selected Cases or Selected Accounts. Multiple Cases and/or Accounts can be added to both lists.
- Add Case(s) From Search button will give the opportunity to search by various criteria to identify cases to include.
- Add Account(s) From Search button will provide the opportunity to search by various criteria to identify accounts to include.
- Evidence Packet by Account: provides the ability to search by revenue object Accounts to include in the single evidence packet generation.
- The Enter Account field will respond with results as the user types, narrowing the list of matches as more data is entered. Click on the desired match, click the Add button to add the result to the grid list of Selected Accounts. Multiple Accounts can be added to Select Accounts for inclusion.
- Add Account(s) From Search button will provide the opportunity to search by various criterion to identify accounts for inclusion.
- Evidence Packet by Case: provides the ability to search by Case and Accounts to include in the single evidence packet generation.
- Next button will advance the Packet Report selection page
- Close button will return the user to the previous page in focus.
Once the required cases and/or accounts are identified and Next is selected, the Packet Report page will be displayed, giving the user the opportunity to identify an existing template and modify the content prior to generating the Evidence Packet.
