Value Modifiers

Navigate: Asmt Admin > Setup > Value Modifiers

Description

Set up the value modifiers, such as exemptions, which will be used to change the assessed value of revenue objects via Value Modifier Maintenance.

Steps

1. Select value modifiers to edit and create new ones on Select or Add Value Modifiers.

2. Enter the details of the value modifier on Set Up Value Modifiers.

Dependencies, Prerequisites, and Setup

Value modifiers must be set up before they can be associated with revenue objects in Value Modifier Maintenance or with external classification codes in External Classification Mapping.

• Value Types – Set up the value types which will be used to determine the amount of a value modifier and when it can be applied.

Configuration Menu

• Systype Maintenance:

  The Value Modifier Type and Value Modifier Method systype categories cannot be modified by the user.
